Blix attends The Customer Show

Blix attended it's first of many trade show events; The Customer Show: Australia’s only event covering the evolution of commerce at the intersection of payments and financial services with mobile, retail, marketing services, data and technology.

A number of Blix sensors were setup around the event. They were able to record performance data for the organisers. This data will enable them to improve their shows for the future by understanding visitor-flow, attendee numbers, visit duration, repeat visit rate as well as being able to understand which speakers attracted the largest crowds.

Additionally, the Blix offering proved compelling amongst visitors and exhibitors to the Blix stand. In real-time, we were able to demonstrate the value of understanding foot-traffic. We were able to show bounce rates, visitor numbers, movement throughout the show, etc. The Blix stand drew a lot of interest due to our unique offering and innovation that was proven by a repeat visitor rate of 20%, who were looking for more information!

The Customer Show was spread over 2 days, with the first day attracting over 30% more attendees than day 2. This was perhaps unsurprising, given there were no presentations at the Keynote Theatre on day 2. Of the attendees who visited either of the two presentations theatres, 80% subsequently visited one of the Blix monitored areas, further signifying the popularity of stands at The Customer Show.

The two day event has proven incredibly successful, and enabled Blix to get in front of numerous decision makers. Some businesses that we were able to connect with included American Express, ASB (NZ's version of CBA), Accenture, Saatchi & Saatchi, Westpac, Gucci, Coles & Jayco.
